GICS Cancer support meeting - GICS, support group for gastro-intestinal cancers (bowel, oesophagus, pancreas and stomach) meets every third Thursday in Training Rooms South, (map) at Colchester General Hospital at 6.30pm. Colchester Catalyst Charity provides funding for support and equipment needed by people with medical conditions or disabilities who live in north east Essex, specifically where assistance is not available from statutory organisations.
Marie Curie is for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. Marie Curie offers expert care, guidance and support to help them get the most from the time they have left. Marie Curie nurses work night and day, in people's homes across the UK, providing hands on care and vital emotional support. Our hospices offer specialist round-the-clock care. And Marie Curie support people throughout their illness by giving practical information, support from trained volunteers and being there when someone wants to talk.
