A new unit now provides an integrated area for acute and elective procedures. A separate Children's outpatient area gives 8 clinic rooms with dedicated play facilities.
There is a modern Level 2 Neonatal unit located in an adjacent wing with 18 cots. The Community Paediatric service is located in the Colchester Primary Care Centre adjacent to the main hospital site in a purpose built children's centre.
