Appointments. Phone numbers and email addresses of departments if you need to change, rearrange or cancel your hospital appointment.
To send a message to an inpatient at either of our hospitals, please include their first name and surname and the ward they are on. (If you don't know the ward, please give the patient's address and postcode so we can cross-check our records.) Then email your message to: email@example.com
Emails are handled weekdays during office hours, and we try to get them to the patient by the next working day. (Note: we don't accept 'eCards' or similar, just an email.)
You may wish to phone a ward directly and we publish the ward phone numbers for Colchester General Hospital and for Essex County Hospital here. Don't forget that a patient can receive phonecalls from their friends and family to their own Hospedia bedside entertainment system*, although they have to set this up once at the hospital.
