The Annual Members' Meeting of Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust will be held on Thursday 14 September.
It will take place in the Lecture Theatre, Postgraduate Medical Centre, Colchester General Hospital, beginning at 3pm. It is expected to be finished by 5pm.
The Trust, which runs Colchester General Hospital and Essex County Hospital, is hoping to attract as many members of the public to the meeting as possible.
David White, Trust Chair, said: “We have come up with a programme which we hope will appeal to many people.
“I look forward to welcoming members of the public along to our Annual Members’ Meeting where the Board of Directors and Council of Governors will listen to the experiences and views of the local population.
“This will give the public the opportunity to ask questions on the future of our hospital and our partnership with The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust. This will support us in hearing what people actually think and for us to listen to the suggestions we hope the public will bring.
“As an NHS foundation trust, we have just over 6,000 public members and more than 4,000 staff members.”
