Ipswich Town’s players took a break from their festive schedule to deliver some Christmas cheer to patients on our children’s ward today (Thursday afternoon).

Striker Freddie Sears, midfielders Flynn Downes and Tristan Nydam and defender Jordan Spence presented gifts to youngsters on the ward and spent time chatting with them and their parents, as well as some of the staff.

Amongst the children receiving gifts were Keeley Rich, Nia Benmore, Arlo Ray and Sophie Lovett.

Town are in action at Portman Road on Saturday when they host Reading in the Championship.
